Versatility is here
Mostly indicated for dysplasy,
osteotomy and fracture outcomes
KONE is a multifunctional and alternative system that satisfies all needs and is indicated as a response to numerous indications for hip arthroplasty.
Product range: 14 sizes
press-fit and cemented

The KONE stem is available in both cementless press-fit and cemented version (KONE Plus).
The cementless version, although also used for femurs with normal morphology, is especially indicated for dysplasias, osteotomy and fracture outcomes.
The simplicity of use of the KONE Plus cemented version makes it particularly suitable in cases of pertrochanteric or subtrochanteric fractures, possibly in combination with plaques and cerclage wires

Circular cross-section
The circular section allows free adjustment of the anteversion angle. This characteristic makes the KONE stem suitable for patients with bone deformaties, in which forced rotation of the stem could cause dangerous stress concentration at the bone interface.

Sandblasted surface
Surfaces are finished with double corundum sandblasting thereby guaranting high roughness for optimal osseointegration.

Longitudinal fins
The stem’s longitudinal fins are designed to slightly penetrate into the cortical bone, conferring a high degree of rotational stability.

Tapered distal tip
MATERIALS
The KONE stems for cementless press-fit application are made of Titanium Aluminium Niobium forged alloy in compliance with ISO5832/11 Standards.
The KONE Plus stems for cemented application are made of highly Nitrogenized Stainless Steel forged alloy in compliance with ISO5832/9 Standards.
INSTRUMENTS
The instruments set provides a set of graduated conical reamers for precise preparation of the femoral canal and a set of trial stems.
