Position

The main responsibilities will be:

• Collaborate in the development of new products and the implementation of production technologies
• Design of implantable medical devices and associated instruments
• Product drafting and their preliminary industrialization
• Preparation of feasibility studies and product development budgets
• collaborate in the creation and maintenance of Project Files in compliance with quality standards
• Proceed with the advancement of assigned development projects within the required timeframes
• Cooperate with departments in identifying improvement actions for their area of responsibility

Skills and Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering (mechanical, aerospace, biomedical…)
• Previous experience in the R&D or UT sector of companies operating in the field of orthopedic medical devices for fixation or joint prostheses, of at least 5-10 years
• Understanding of mechanical drawing
• 2D/3D CAD
• At least theoretical knowledge of 3D printing processes and mechanical machining
• Knowledge of English (B1 minimum)

Preferred requirements:

• Knowledge of Siemens NX CAD/CAM
• Previous experience in the medical device sector

Compensation
Salary commensurate with experience (Gross Annual Salary: €28.000–€38.000).

Work Location

Merate (LC), Full Time Monday-Friday.
