Position

Reporting directly to the Quality Control Manager, the successful candidate will join the Quality Control Department and will be responsible for inspecting finished products and semi-finished components using both standard measuring instruments and 3D measuring machines.

Supporting the Quality Control Manager, the candidate will:

• Perform quality inspections on finished products and semi-finished components.
• Assist, where possible, with the calibration, verification, and maintenance of quality control equipment.
• Report any product non-conformities identified during inspections to the Quality Control Manager and support their investigation and resolution.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
• Promptly inform the Quality Control Manager of any issues or abnormalities encountered during daily activities.

Skills & Requirements

• Understanding of the technical and quality aspects related to the manufacturing and inspection of high-tech, high-reliability medical device components.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and product inspection processes.
• Knowledge of dimensional measurement techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in the use of standard measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and similar tools.
• Previous experience with profile projectors, roundness measuring instruments, surface roughness testers, 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and CNC turning and milling processes will be considered an advantage.

Education and Experience

• Technical diploma in an industrial or mechanical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in product quality control.

Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience (Annual Gross Salary: €25.000–€30.000).

Work Location

Merate (LC), Full Time Monday-Friday.
