Legal & Labour Affairs Specialist

Position

We are looking for a legal professional with a strong background in employment law to serve as the company’s internal point of reference for legal, contractual, and labour law matters. The successful candidate will work closely with Management, Human Resources, and Administration to ensure regulatory compliance and provide legal support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Employment Law

  • Support Management and the Human Resources team in the application of employment legislation.
  • Assist in managing employment contracts and all documentation related to the employment relationship.
  • Provide legal support in disciplinary procedures, employment disputes, labour relations, and organizational restructuring.
  • Advise on employment law and industrial relations matters.

Legal & Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), supply agreements, consultancy contracts, and service agreements, including those in an international context.
  • Support the Administration Department in managing day-to-day legal matters.
  • Liaise with external legal advisors, law firms, and notaries.
  • Manage corporate and contractual documentation, ensuring accuracy and proper maintenance.
  • Provide legal advice to the various business functions on a broad range of legal issues.

Compliance & Corporate Governance

  • Support corporate compliance activities and the updating of internal policies and procedures.
  • Assist with privacy compliance, delegations of authority, powers of attorney, and corporate documentation.
  • Promote a culture of regulatory compliance throughout the organization.

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Law.
  • Qualified lawyer (admitted to the Bar).
  • At least 5 years of experience in employment law gained within a company, law firm, or labour consultancy firm.
  • Experience in commercial contracts and/or corporate law.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and the ability to interpret and address cross-functional legal issues.
  • Strong knowledge of civil law, commercial law, and civil procedure.
  • Basic knowledge of debt recovery, enforcement proceedings, insolvency procedures, and related litigation.

Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience (Annual Gross Salary: €35.000–€45.000).

Work Location

Merate (LC), Full Time Monday-Friday.
