Mirai® conical humeral core offers a further option as an intermediate choice between classic stemless and stemmed version.
Conical humeral core
Mirai® conical humeral core represents a solution in those cases where an optimal fixation through a stemless core cage is not achieved, remaining bone preserving with respect to the traditional stemmed configuration.
Mirai® conical humeral core is suitable for both anatomic and reverse configuration, with or without additional diaphyseal stem.
Stand-alone configuration
It enhances primary and secondary stability due to a larger bone-implant contact surface.
Stemmed configuration
A diaphyseal stem can be easily connected for distal fixation.
Design
TRASER porous trabecular structure to increase osseointegration.
Symmetric anti-rotational wings both on the medial and the lateral surface increase stability.
Ø1,5 mm holes on anti-rotational wings for suture.
Dovetail connection for fillers to enhance fixation in case of bone defects or poor bone quality.
