Senior QA&RA FDA<\/h4><\/div>

Position<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The candidate will be part of <\/span>the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs department and<\/span> will primarily perform activities related to device registration with the FDA for access to the United States market.<\/span> They will also need to interact proactively with all company departments<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The m<\/span>ain activities <\/span>are<\/span>:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Define and implement the regulatory strategy for medical device registration in the United States (FDA) <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Identify the appropriate regulatory pathway (e.g., 510K) <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Interface with the FDA for document submission and any requests<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Independently prepare, review, and submit regulatory dossiers (medical devices of all classes \u2013 III, IIb, IIa, I)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Manage technical documentation according to FDA requirements<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Supervise risk management activities <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Coordinate the collection of necessary clinical and preclinical data by interfacing with the clinical office<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Manage establishment registration and device listing with the FDA <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Ensure compliance with quality management system requirements and prepare the company for FDA inspections <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support internal and external audits<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Verify the company’s quality management system and update it if necessary to ensure compliance with specific requirements, ensuring alignment with the ISO 13485 standard<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Manage CAPAs, non-conformities, and change controls in collaboration with the involved company functions<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Monitor FDA regulatory updates <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Manage any post-market reports<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Provide support for device certification in accordance with the MDR 2017\/745 regulation <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Education and Experience<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Technical degree in chemical, mechanical or biomedical engineering, or other scientific disciplines.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • At least 5 years of previous experience in Quality Assurance within the medical device sector and experience in the management and registration of medical devices in the United States. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Skills and competencies: <\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n

      Knowledge of the main standards and laws applicable to the medical device sector; specifically, knowledge of the following standards and regulations is mandatory:<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • ISO 13485<\/span><\/li>\n
      • ISO 14971<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Directive 93\/42\/EEC <\/span><\/li>\n
      • Regulation (EU) 2017\/745<\/span><\/li>\n
      • 510K procedure <\/span><\/li>\n
      • 21 CFR part 820, 801, 807, 803, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • Knowledge of the Office suite.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Knowledge of technical documentation management.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Knowledge of mechanical drawing rules.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Knowledge of project and planning management principles.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Proactivity, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Compensation<\/span>
          \n<\/strong>Salary commensurate with experience (Gross Annual Salary: \u20ac35.000\u2013\u20ac45.000).<\/p>\n
