GKS BUTTERFLY is a tricompartimental rotating hinge totally constrained knee prosthesis providing intramedullary fixation, suitable for those cases requiring high degree of stability due to severe axial corrections or ligaments instabilities. It is available in 2 models:

- PRIMARY, without trochlear shield, indicated for primary arthroplasties.

- REVISION, with trochlear shield restoring the patellar gliding surface in revision arthroplasties.

Thanks to the modularity of it's components (femoral-tibial body, intramedullary stems, compensatory plates) GKS BUTTERFLY knee prosthesis allows the surgeon to chose always the best implant combination.

Intramedullary stems can be cemented or cementless, while the condylar prosthesis is always cemented.
